This gorgeous spreader makes mats of tiny, rounded, glossy rich green leaves, a lovely alternative to thymes. White-eyed blue flowers cover the plant in late spring for several weeks, giving the effect of pools of water and attracting bees. Tolerates light foot traffic. It is ideal between paving stones or as a low-traffic lawn alternative.
