Orange Meadowbright Coneflower
This is the first bicoloured Coneflower, producing large heads of soft peachy-orange petals with a rose halo, surrounding the large orange-brown cone. Blooms are delightfully fragrant, the plants well-branched, strong and bushy in habit. Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent for cutting. Coneflowers begin blooming in midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed. Although leaving some spent blooms on over the winter months provides food for finches and other birds.
