Buddleja davidii, commonly called butterfly bush, is a deciduous shrub that is native to thickets on mountain slopes, limestone outcrops, forest clearings and rocky stream banks in China. It is noted for its bushy habit, arching stems, showy/fragrant flowers and vigorous growth.
