Sprouting annually from a huge underground tuber, this southwestern native forms sprawling mounds of lush blue-green foliage with daily crops of funnel-shaped magenta flowers opening in the afternoon through much of the summer. Attracts hummingbirds and moths. Drought and salt tolerant.
