Red leaf Spurge is a compact, nicely branched, evergreen perennial with rosettes of leathery, ruby red leaves when young, which mature to purple-black. They contrast with bright cherry-red stems that are toped with sprays of inflorescent yellow floral bracts in late spring to early summer.
