Texas Salvia
Straight, fine stems arranged in a broad vase shape are lined with willowy leaves and delightful, small, indigo-blue flowers. Xeric, and a hummingbird delight, it's four feet tall and wonderful in blue-dotted drifts blooming summer into fall. It works well in the company of grasses, billowing in the wind.
