Bigtooth Maple grows as a medium sized tree often growing multi-stemmed but can be trained to a single trunk. The bark is smooth, gray-brown, fairly thin, developing numerous shallow furrows with age. Plant in naturalistic groupings with large grasses and intermingle with evergreen trees to accentuate the beautiful fall leaf coloration.
