Medium grower with bright shades of deep purple and chestnut brown that contrast with its bright green interior. This cultivar produces lots of offsets and the whole rosette turns purple in winter. Hens & Chicks need plenty of outdoor sunlight to show their best colors and maintain a tight rosette form. They thrive in gritty, well-draining soils and pots with drainage holes.
