This is a dense, suckering, deciduous shrub that spreads by runners. The flowers are bell-shaped and colored white with pink highlights and appear in the summer. Flowers are replaced by clusters of round, coral-red berries that mature in the autumn. The berries persist through the winter, giving winter-interest and color throughout.
