Pulsatilla vulgaris 'Alba' is a clump-forming perennial boasting large, bell-shaped, prue white flowers, up to 3" across, on short stems in early spring. Nodding when they open, the flower heads gradually extend upwards to face the sun. They are followed by attractive, plume-like seed heads. They go dormant in the summer.
