Shrubs
Compact Gray Santolina
This aromatic subshrub has finely divided silver-gray foliage in dense, frothy-looking mounds. Small buttonlike gold flowers top the bushes in late spring to midsummer, depending on climate, and attract bees and butterflies. In hot climates, best planted and pruned in cool spring or fall weather.
